Fun in El Paso
As promised, here are a few pictures from our fun trip to visit Audra, Jeremy, and Koen (5 months).

Mason Being a Ham
We were out in El Paso visiting our friends Jeremy and Audra and their almost 6 month old Koen. We had a really fun time getting the boys together and catching up some. We also got to get out and enjoy the weather at the El Paso Zoo! Pictures of the trip will be coming soon, but I had to get this video posted.
During the visit, Audra and Jeremy's friend Lorene stopped by for a little while. Something about her made Mason hysterical. Unfortunately, I only caught the tail end of the scene, but during the few minutes just before this he was laughing almost non-stop.

Three months old!
Our little man is now 3 months old! Mason has grown so much- he weighs around 15 lbs! It amazes me how far he has come in a short period of time. He is settling into a routine and sleeps so well at night, only getting up once after going to bed around 9pm and waking up around 8am. Mommy and Daddy love finally getting rested nights!!! He is a very active sleeper and never wakes up facing the way he went to bed. This morning he had almost flipped a full 180 degrees! Maybe he will be rolling over soon...
He is more alert during the day and loves sitting up and seeing everything around him. His jumperoo is his new favorite activity, but also loves laying on his play mat and grabbing at his toys.
He is finally getting some hair on the top of his head and looks like he has a flat top and is constantly chewing on his hands.
We have been blessed with such a happy, easy going baby. He is always laughing and smiling and such a joy.
Mason will be flying for the first time on Thusday as we head to El Paso to visit with Audra, Jeremy, & Koen. Check back for pictures from our trip!

My how time flies!!
I can't believe it has been almost a month since I posted something on the blog. Mason is growing so fast! I weighed him last week and he is 14 lbs 5 oz.
Mason and Mommy have been going to Stroller Fit (a mommy and me fitness class) most mornings with our friends Cathy and Hudson. Here is a picture of the boys during class. Hudson is one week older than Mason.
We have also had some wonderful 70 degree days recently and took advantage by going to the park for picnics. Mason loves being outside, so we do it whenever we can.
Justin's family was in town this past weekend for a nice visit. His mom was able to catch Mason's classic pout that we have been trying to catch for some time now. My child loves being dramatic!

Two Months Old
Mason has had quite the busy week so far. Monday, we went to Mommy and Me Yoga with our friends Cathy and Hudson. Mason loved it and it was a great workout for me. Working out is hard enough after not exercising for 2 months and even harder while carrying around a 13lb Mason! After yoga, we headed to lunch with Cathy and Hudson.
Mason had his Two Month pictures taken yesterday and he did wonderfully! He is really smiling and laughing now. He loves to interact and such a happy kid. Some of the pictures are posted below. That afternoon, we decided to try out the jog stroller since it was a nice day. There may have been more walking than jogging, but we both enjoyed the fresh air. Unfortunately the weather will be way too cold to get out the rest of the week, but we will have to go again once it warms up.
Today, Mason had his 2 month checkup and his first round of shots. He is in the 75 percentile for both height and weight and doing great. He now weights 13 lbs 11 oz and is 23 1/2 inches long! He has gained almost 6 lbs and 4 1/2 inches since birth. He did as well as can be expected with his shots - 2 in each leg. We both shed a few tears and he has been sleeping all afternoon recovering.

Mason had a wonderful first Christmas, despite both mommy and daddy being sick! Luckily, he was a trooper and never got sick. Even better, he was great for Mema and Papa while they helped take care of him! Here are a few pictures from his Eighth and Ninth week:
