Working from home on a Friday...

I was supposed to be working from home this afternoon so that our nanny could go to a parent/teacher meeting, but my adorable, little man decided he would entertain me during my conference call instead. I had to put the phone on mute so that the room of people did not hear Mason bouncing away to his hearts content! I decided the conference call was not exciting enough and taking a video of Mason was more important at the time! He LOVES jumping!

Swim lessons

Mason had his first swim lesson last week. Mason and Hudson both had a good time and really seemed comfortable in the water! We are going for lesson number two tomorrow!

Mason had his 4 month check up last Monday and he weighed in at 16lbs 3oz! He had a couple of new firsts this week. We started on cereal on Wednesday and he rolled over from his back to his tummy for the first time! Papa L. got to see him roll over first on Thursday, but he kept it a secret until Mommy saw it on Friday morning. Now, he will not stay on his back for more than a minute before he rolls over. It's amazing how once they learn something, they are almost a pro at it overnight. We'll try to get a video posted of that soon. He still doesn't roll from his tummy to his back, but that shouldn't be too far away.

Here are some pics from this past week.

Mason is 4 months old!

Time keeps flying by and Mason is now 4 months. He can now firmly grasp on to objects and move them around. He loves pulling mommy's hair as well! He likes his jumperoo and wants to always be sitting up or standing. Mason loves to swing outside (thanks Papa!) and get some fresh air now that it has started to warm up. He's getting more hair on top.

Here are some of his 4 month pictures we had done yesterday.

Mason is also finally starting to have a resemblance to me but still has a lot of Justin.

He starts swimming lessons today and goes to the doctor on Monday for his checkup (and shots- yuck!) so I will post more pictures as well as his height and weight soon.

We attempted to go to Justin's softball game and even got dressed for the occasion, but I think it was too cool outside for him and we had our first public meltdown. If it took four months to have a meltdown with all the places I have taken him, I feel very lucky. He is such an easy going kid (definitely did not get that from me!). Here is a picture of Mason in his baseball gear ready to go!
